I've been collecting these proverbs from around the world, shared by my students as an assignment in my Upper Intermediate Speaking and Listening class, since 2003. This blog showcases the proverbs and includes activities to build intercultural awareness. Note: This is a work in progress!

My other blogs:
- Check out my sabbatical blog, Sarah on Sabbatical, written in winter/spring 2013 when I was living in Santander, Spain, researching international education and making international connections. You can read about my sabbatical adventures, find out more information about me, and see lots of pictures of Cantabria like the one below.
- Check out my new blog, Saturday's child, which is a medium for short stories on a work-related theme (Saturday's child works hard for a living!)
- Check out my lesson materials blog, Sarah's EAP, ESL, and ESP lesson plans, for project-based lessons that infuse key concepts and vocabulary from academic disciplines such as psychology, business, and health care.
